Chicago Nation is recognized as one of the best teams in the United States and is comprised of some of the best players in the Chicagoland area. We are a home-grown team from Chicago and represent the heart and soul of our great city. For the first time in history Nation has brought together top notch talent for a greater purpose of changing the game and paving a pathway for the future generations to come. 

Sasa Labovic

Captain

Known as " The General" Sasa is an anchor to Nations back-line. A product of Fire academy Sasa had led Nation in back-to-back seasons to one of the best goals against in the country and 8 clean sheets in spring 23.' Back in the final 4 Sasa will play a huge role in bringing the trophy home to Chicago. 

Isaac Sutton

Assistant Captain

Isaac was a huge part of Nations backline that was the best defensive unit in the country. Isaac played Division 1 in Denmark and Sweden. He also played USL for North Carolina FC. Isaac has been with Nation since the beginning and has now helped lead Nation back to the final 4 in Spring 23' where he looks to become a national champion and punch Nation's ticket into Open Cup

Nick Klabjan

Center Midfielder

Nick played for the Chicago Magic academy in his youth and went on to play for the Wisconsin Badgers. Nick joined Nation in spring of 22' and helped anchor Our midfield. Nation finished top 8 in the country.

Will Butler

Center Defensive Mid

Will Butler in his second season has helped lead Nation back to the final 4. Butler is a local legend and has played a huge part in bringing together some of the best players in the Chicagoland under one brand. His play on the field is world class and his influence off the field is making a huge impact to our youth and moving the this great game forward. 

Jasminko Dizdarevic

Center Mid

Jas, has been a key part to Nation's midfield. Jas, is extremely creative and his ability to hit the long ball is top notch. He's been a-big part of Nation's core and success since the start.

Nick Kapetanos

Winger

Nick is the pride of Benedictine. He leads his college in all times points scored in school history. Nick earned his nickname "The Greek" in the final 8 East regional championship when he scored in the final 3 minutes sending Nation to the National Finals. Hes a speedy winger with a knack for finding the back of the net.

Sergei Wawzyrniak

Outside Back

Sergei, joined Nation in spring of 22'. He's a natural Center Back but has adapted to playing on the outside. Sergie gives Nation Size, speed and physicality in the back and is a-big part of one of the top defenses in the country.

Peru Demeneghi

Goalie

One of Nation's most experienced players. Peru played for Pachuca division 1 in Mexico. Hes played in 1st, 2nd and 3rd division in Mexico with Xalapa, Veracruz and Hidalgo. In spring of 22' Peru pitched 7 straight shutouts and only allowed 4 goals all season.
